I know a thing or two about weight loss. I also know a thing or two about weight gain. They are two sides of a coin which is too often the currency of how much we value ourselves.
Too much of the weight loss industry plays on this. Sitting in circles in weight loss clubs clapping people who have lost a pound, people sneaking away and not staying to class having ‘sinned’, knowing they probably need it most. The times I have got on the scale and congratulated myself for my weight loss. Yet these are outweighed by the number of times I’ve admonished myself with a big dollop of (full fat) self damnation. It’s time to break the link between weight lost and self worth.
However, while I don’t want to ever make someone feel more worthy because of a weight loss, I think there is an inextricable link between the two. Until we truly value ourselves for who we are, we are unlikely to have what it takes to lose weight and keep it off. This is why my new value/weight approach is so refreshing. We work on your value, your self worth, and your weight. We don’t see one being reliant on the other, but we aim to separately build one up while the other comes down, to your desired manageable weight. Most importantly, you’ll learn the tools to keep your value high and your weight low forever.
Value/weight runs over 10 weeks with 5 full hypnosis sessions in that time. You can book as an individual, build a small group of your own family/friends, or come to a group that I have put together. The maximum is always 6 and there is definitely no clapping!
